What this tool does
Add the PDFs you want to join, drag them into the right order, and get a single combined file. PDF Merge runs in your browser with pdf-lib, so your documents are never uploaded. Reorder or remove files until the sequence is exactly what you need.
Need to take a PDF apart instead? Pull out pages with PDF split, or shrink images first with Image compress.
What you can use it for
- Join scanned pages that came as separate files.
- Combine a cover, a body and an appendix into one document.
- Merge invoices or reports into a single file to send.
- Assemble a booklet from individual PDF sections.
How to use it
- Drop or choose two or more PDF files.
- Reorder them with the up and down arrows.
- Remove any file you do not want.
- Merge and download the combined PDF.
Everything runs inside your browser. No file is uploaded to any server. See more tools in this field.

DocumentFrequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. The files are read and combined entirely in your browser with pdf-lib. Nothing is uploaded, so confidential documents stay on your device.
Can I control the page order?
Yes. The files merge in the order shown in the list, top to bottom. Use the arrows to reorder them before merging, and the result follows that exact sequence.
Is there a limit on the number of files?
There is no fixed limit, but everything runs in browser memory, so very large or very many files can get slow. For everyday documents it is instant.
What if one of the files is not a valid PDF?
The merge stops and flags the problem so you can remove the offending file. A password-protected or corrupted PDF may fail to open; remove the protection first and try again.
